Périgueux is my hometown: its medieval lanes, Saint-Front cathedral and riverside quays offer a rare urban backdrop for wedding photos, just minutes from the surrounding countryside estates.

I live in Eyliac, right next door, which makes me easily available for weddings in town as well as in the immediate surroundings.

Why get married in Périgueux?

The town offers a rare contrast between medieval stone, covered market and riverbanks — enough to vary the mood in a single day without travelling far.

Many couples choose a religious or civil ceremony downtown, then a reception at an estate a few kilometres away: I know this sequence well.

A day in two parts: the town, then the countryside

01

We meet in town

Coffee in Périgueux, to meet and talk about your town hall or church, the reception venue you have in mind, and how the two connect.

02

Getting the timing right between two venues

Most Périgueux weddings combine a downtown ceremony with a countryside reception: we plan the travel time together so nothing feels rushed.

03

Leaving the town hall, then the estate

I cover you leaving the town hall or church through the lanes of the historic centre, then follow you to the reception venue for the rest of the day.

04

After the celebration

Sorting and editing every photo, then delivery of an online gallery and a physical support.

Frequently asked questions

Do you only work in Périgueux?

No, I cover the whole Dordogne and travel across Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Périgueux is simply my base, which makes me very available for weddings in town and nearby.

What's the price for a wedding in Périgueux?

Pricing is the same as for the rest of the Dordogne; details are on the pricing page, with no extra travel cost within the urban area.

Can we take photos in the historic centre?

Yes, it's actually one of my favourite backdrops. Some permits may be needed depending on the exact spots, which we discuss beforehand.

How long until we receive the photos?

The full edited gallery usually arrives 6 to 8 weeks after the wedding.
