About
Valentin Legoupil, wedding photographer

I live and work in the Dordogne, in Eyliac, right next to Périgueux.
Photography represents, to me, the past, the present and the future: the past to remember, the present to relive, and the future to imagine.
How I came to wedding photography
Photography didn't happen by chance. For years a project manager in IT, I have always looked at the world searching for the telling moment — the one that speaks for itself, without staging it. I first photographed my friends' and family's events, then sports assignments and portrait sessions, until I found in weddings the one setting that brings together everything that moves me: emotion, movement, people.
Getting married myself turned that desire into a certainty. I lived, from the inside, what that day truly means — the one day you gather everyone you love to celebrate a love — and I wanted to give couples images worthy of what they feel, not only of what can be seen.

Project manager and photographer
This dual background often reassures couples: behind the artistic sensitivity, there's real organisational rigour — schedules, backups, anticipating the unexpected. I also remain open to broader projects in other fields: the only limit is your imagination.
